Map detail
City maps show streets, buildings and terrain. Landscape maps focus on elevation, with natural colours derived from geographic data or a monochrome finish. Building heights may be estimated; snow and vegetation follow dated observations. Check your chosen area in the 3D preview.
Frames, lighting and engraving
Choose an Ivory or Charcoal printed frame and backplate. Add Natural oak, Walnut stain or Ebony stain around either colour. Optional LED backlighting adjusts from warm to cool and can be dimmed. Text can be inset into the frame or backplate, or engraved on a metal plaque fitted to the wood surround.
Photo pins
Photos are optional. Upload one to preview its crop, or fit your own later. Circular photos can be 18–76.2 mm in diameter. Download the photo sheet and print it at actual size, with automatic cropping turned off. Each pin includes a matching original map section to fill its location when the pin is removed.
Sizes and display
Map surfaces range from 20 to 120 cm on each side, in 20 cm steps. Finished frame dimensions are shown in the customizer. Every size supports wall display; maps with a 20 cm height also support a tabletop stand at any width. Larger maps arrive in sections with joining hardware and an assembly guide.
Orders and additions
Review the design, price and estimated dispatch time before payment. Track the order in your account. To add a new pin location later, open the original order and replace the affected map tiles. You can change a paper photo without replacing a tile.
Care
Display indoors, away from sustained heat and strong direct sunlight. Dust with a soft brush or dry cloth; avoid water and solvents. Take the map down before replacing a tile. Choose wall fixings suitable for your wall and the finished weight.
